my personal hell

Fret and worry coursed through the scales of the black tiger snake as he slithered back and forth along the edge of the Drop Off pit. Down below will-O-wisp light had long since flitted its way down much father than it had anticipated before catching glimpse of kindling flame of Misery light. Innocent hum chimed within the acoustic walls in alto-soprano melody. Pale light was soft in a dismal gray to expose the discomfort of canine companion from behemoth attack. Empathy hummed as if the atmosphere were light and at leisure euphoria. Dark ears twitched swiveling in a single circle with Will-O-Wisp chime. Soft, sleepy grumble waned from her raven lips in a slow, groggy wake. Damn. A pained groan followed suit as she rolled in a slight angle on to her side from sleeping on her stomach. Her eyelids felt uncomfortably heavy as if there were a weight pressing down upon her temples. Recent events were blurred yet comprehensible and legible. Will-O-Wisp orb stretch a single wave of light to touch between the eyes of its stirring companion and fellow blind acquaintance. “Drôle, sleeping wake, wolves you!” the light giggled amiably as it tumbled in the air in jovial twirl.  Once the orb had touched her forehead, Poltergeist had snapped awake as if an electrical surge coursed through her nerves in a forceful wake. Gasping breath jerked at her lungs in sudden intake like having the wind knocked from her or forced in watery abyss and eventually finding surface. Her lilac eyes wide in startled wake listening to her gasping breath echo around acoustic walls of Drop-Off gorge.

Head shook to wake herself up some more only to welcome an uninvited surge of pain in aching reminder.  Ears then twitched, capturing the sound the slumber breathing of the indigo acerbus sleeping heavily beside her. Weary lavender eyes searched his tired form, capturing sight of the large gnash - laceration which raked along his left side. His right shoulder was also severely torn which forced her ears to flatten against her skull in a weight of guilt pressing on her chest. Gaze danced slowly finding his Raven shadow near by; only to respond to him with a rather deflated sigh. There were mixed emotions swimming around her at that moment amidst pain and nausea light-headedness from the blood loss. But for now, she would shake it off: what she could that is. “Trip, enjoy you did?” the impish light giggled with a single roll as it danced loftily around, hovering then next to Misery light for several moments. Poltergeist did not acknowledge the light and its jest – its light remained a worn exhausted silver though still effortlessly kept in high spirits.

Behemoth beast had concealed itself in a deep slumber; shutting itself away for who knew how long: which was probably what frightened Poltergeist more than anything. The fact that she didn’t know when the beast would strike again. It had been appearing more and more frequently for some time. Though perhaps for now, it would remain at bay for a longer time frame now. “I’m sorry.” she breathed a tired whisper; plants would grow from beneath her paws through Dryad’s gift with ease to harbor aide in medicinal supplements and pastes in which she’d make and apply to his wounds before sealing any open lacerations with Empathy’s aide should he’d allow it if he’d wake during or before. Voices taunted her with harsh words and blame and ridicule. Any time she moved, Poltergeist found herself having to stop for a moment to endure any pain that surged from behemoth match between it and the mad blind man. She couldn’t tell of anything broken – though it would come to no surprise if he had a broken bone or two from their fall or even the spar. The behemoth had nearly had her ripped apart from her own magic attacks. Star Keeper ripped through flesh like butter and oscillate had bloodied her right side, ripping away flesh and breaking a rib or two. GODS forbid what the fall may have done. If she were able to apply the salve, she’d use an ounce of healing magics in attempt to speed his healing recovery before curling up beside him then and placed her head against his abdomen weighed in doubt, doubting herself with how much she could take of this.

ACCEPTED.
Welcome to Xalypsis!

A brutal reminder of the illnesses many gene pools still face, ever still suffering the poison seeds pitted and nourished at birth only bloom into thorny flowers as time progresses. Sick, but is she damaged? Broken, but does she need fixing? Does she seek to remedy the ramshackle confines of her mind, or does her desire simply drive her to wander? Aimlessness will also condone due agony for those whose ambitions oft escape them. She will be watched closely, and be presented with many forks in her path.
