Having washed a shore some hours before the brown and white mare found herself finally dry and warm thanks to the late spring sunlight. Alas the orb of fire within the sky was getting lower and lower. Slowly it was disappearing and would soon be replaced by the chilly rays of the silver moon. With summer soon approaching the night wouldn’t as cold as it could be, but the mare still didn’t wish to be outside when darkness fell in this strange new land. Who knows what could be lurking in the night? Than again the same could be said about the darkness of some forest or cave as well.

Still the lady moved from her spot within the warm sand. Her body ached, and skin stung from the salt that clung to her. Yet taking a bath within the sea wouldn’t do much good to get herself cleaned off. That would just get even more salt to tangle within her hair.

Swaying her hips side to side the fae moved with a gentle grace. Posed with each step as she scanned the beach around her. The purple blue sand a marvel to behold. Why it had such a hue is beyond her, yet it was fine and pretty all the same. Taking her eyes away from the grains of sand under her hooves she spotted what appeared to be an old path within the brush outlining the beach. The plant life seemed overgrown, but the path worn as if it was once used but had been forgotten for sometime. Curious by this she pushed forward and moved the leaves out of her way. Body moved with caution so that she didn’t stumble upon any rocks hidden within the ivy.

The path twisted and turned for sometime until a rocky cliff came within view. Taking a deep breath she rested for a moment before spying an opening within the cliff, and hearing the sound of a bubbling brook. Moving towards it the lady found that the entrance of the cave was a mere face. Small-ish at the doorway, but it soon opened to a large cavern with a pool of fresh water falling into the cavern from the eastern side of the cave. Tropical plants grow around the waterfall. “Oh, what a lovely little grotto.” The woman cooed to herself as she stood at the edge of the pool. Looking to the far end of the cavern she could see a tunnel with the pool’s water running down it. “Wonder where it goes.” She then questioned curiously as if someone was around to answer her.

ACCEPTED.
Welcome to Xalypsis!

Chaos, pandemonium; such lovely, grotesque words that this beast has acquired through the years and incorporated them into the webbings of a complex personality. We cannot help but wonder where this bitterness truly stems from, for being robbed of power is something many kings endure a thousand times during their rule, and ever still somehow attain it once more. So what will be of you, dear mammoth, who seeks to purge inside of him that which signifies weakness, or the absence of pride?
